OOC: This is a continuation from On a Break.
It was still the day before classes started. For one, Atari understood that he needed to tell Elizabeth that he got all the classes she told him to get. Secondly, he would have to tell her that Engel returned... and that he was their first class professor.
The young male sighed out as he reached his house. In a quick motion, he grabbed the key out of his pocket and unlocked the door. Entering, he said out of habit, "I'm home." There was no reply since his brother has started his evening shift at the Blue Crescent Bar. Even so, it was comforting to know that he would get a "Welcome back!" from his brother every so often.
Leaving the shoes by the entrance, he walked right into the living room. There was still time before he should cook dinner. His brother would return late anyway. Sitting on the sofa, Atari took out his cell phone and shifted through his contacts to Elizabeth's name. 'She should be off work by now,' he thought, pressing the call button.

She was just wrapping up her last raising for the evening having just cleaned the sharp pocket knife she had been using to draw a little of her own blood. Hearing her phone ring she looked at the name of the caller id answering it a little surprised, and hopeful it wasn't something bad, "um hi Atari what's up?" Being ever so careful with her voice.

Upon hearing her voice, he greeted her, "Hey Elizabeth. I was thinking you're probably off work by now since it's getting dark." As he was talking to the girl on the phone, he went towards the kitchen in search of a drink. Scrounging around the fridge, he took out a box of orange juice and placed it on the counter. He continued talking, "I wanted to tell you that I got all the classes you suggested." Again, he paused a bit as he took out a glass and poured the orange juice into it. With a sip of his drink, he sighed out contently. This was the dreaded moment as he prepared himself for Elizabeth's reaction.
"There's something else..." he started, pausing again before continuing, "Engel came back."

Hearing the last words she was a bit shocked not saying anything not knowing what to feel. She had for the longest time given up hope that Engel had just been another casualty of this crazy tournament. Doubt surfaced in her mind making her start to panic, "wait! are you sure its him and not an imposter, hes not with you now is he?" Her heart beat picked up expecting the worse starting to walk quickly towards Atari's home waiting for his response to let her know he was alright.

A barrage of questions hit him at once, just like the time he met with Engel again earlier that day. 'Of course Elizabeth would ask so many questions,' Atari thought, recalling the moment he grabbed Engel and questioned him. "It was him. He said he'll explain everything to us after class tomorrow," he replied, moving back to the sofa with his drink. "And he isn't with me right now. As much as I wanted him to answer, I guess I..." Atari couldn't continue what he was going to say. He wanted so much to grab ahold of Engel and not let go after losing him for nearly two years. His eyes stared at the cup of juice on the table. "A-Anyway, what are you doing right now?" he asked, wanting to ease his troubled mind.

Slowing her pace she started to head to her apartment, "well... overreacting I guess..." Her heart slowly returned to a steady rhythm. "You reached me right when I was getting ready to go home, hopefully that stupid skeleton will have done what I told it too..." She mumbled the last bit to herself not knowing if she was overheard or not. As she walked along it was starting to look like it would be a restless night.

"That's like you to overreact," he said, chuckling a bit. "It's nothing to worry about since we'll see each other tomorrow. He's actually the professor for our morning class." He leaned backward against the sofa and closed his eyes. "By the way, what did you say at the end?" Atari asked, not really hearing the rest of her words. He had to ask because he felt somewhat bad for not hearing what she said.

"Sorry I didn't realize I said that out loud... I was talking about that skeleton, I swear he is like a dog at times..." It gave her a headache just thinking about what she had came home to the other day finding her roll of paper towels strung all over the kitchen with a trail leading back to the closet where it liked to stay.

A thought came to his head as he wondered, 'Skeleton...?' At first, he did not understand why Elizabeth kept a skeleton, but it finally hit him. It must have been that skeleton that they resurrected from the graveyard that time he was attacked by multiple combatants. "You're keeping that ancient skeleton from that time, right? It sounds like you have your hands full," he commented on her exasperated tone. Without thinking about it, he added, "If you have any trouble, I could come over."

"Well thanks to the ghost vanishing and the body not wanting to be laid to rest I'm kind of stuck with it..." She arrived at her apartment walking inside she noticed the skeleton sitting on her couch watching TV with the volume a bit too loud and... is that captioning? With a grumble into the phone she said, "not only is it watching TV loudly, it has captioning on, I'm surprised my neighbors haven't complained, I guess I'll see you tomorrow..." She grabbed the remote from her table and muted the TV as the skeleton eerily looked over at her like a irritated child.

The whole situation most likely distracted Elizabeth, so their conversation ended shortly after. Atari could not help but smile when he heard the short click that sounded the end of the phone call. Glancing at the screen, he saw Elizabeth's smiling face and the words CALL ENDED across the screen. For a moment, he recalled how she had stolen his phone and took a picture of herself to use as her caller ID. "It's never a boring moment with you around," he said aloud.
Atari put down his phone on the coffee table in front of him and got up from his seat. Carrying the emptied cup to the kitchen, he thought that it was a good time to start cooking dinner. Matsu would be home in a few hours, complaining about how tired and hungry he was. For the rest of that night, Atari cooked and cleaned, waiting for his older brother to get off work to eat dinner.
