Engel heard the radio piece finally make some noise, and replied, "Nothing out of the ordinary, but I feel I'm sticking out being such a tall guy and not going with the flow to the main tent." He tried to stand out of the way past some of the pushier young people. He just shook his head and thought to himself, 'Does pushing past a tall guy mean nothing to these people.' A iconic large lizard popped into his head and he shook the thought away guessing the people were just crazy. Though he would be lying if he didn't admit the show seemed pretty interesting with the crowd it was pulling, must be horde mentality at work...
Solaris gave a relaxed smile to Lunas and said, "at least he paid." He rubbed his temples feeling the strain getting to him again knowing they would have another rush of people in an hour or so. It hit him then, "W-wait? You think he's cute?!?!" It caught him off guard but of course she didn't see what he had, maybe his thoughts had went to her, when she asked her following question, but he didn't want her to worry any. So he just nodded that it wasn't a pleasant bunch of memories, when she knelt down in front of him offering to help heal him some more he blushed and said, "Thanks, I don't think I could go much further today without your help."

After a while of wandering around, Atari decided to follow the crowd of people. The odd thing that stuck out was that he did not receive any response from the woman, who had gone to check out the tent. Contacting Engel again through their communicators, he informed the man, "I'm going to the main tent to see if I can find you-know-who. She hasn't replied at all, and it's been a little over an hour. If you don't want to walk around by yourself, come to the tent so we can regroup. I'll keep in touch."
Lots of people crowded around the tent. The line was no longer distinguishable due to the fact that everyone was pushing each other towards the entrance. Loud music hovered through the air, and the announcer's voice boomed through the speakers. An applause erupted as Atari finally pushed his way into the tent. Still, Atari could not see anything through the crowd of people. It truly is a curse to be so short as a man. 'Where could she be...?' he wondered, looking around aimlessly. The closeness of everyone's bodies rubbing against each other to find a spot to sit was disgusting. Atari could barely breathe, and the heat was unbearable. As he was walking up the stairs with the crowd, a stranger had accidentally pushed him. Atari lost his footing, and he had begun to fall backwards. It would not have been a terrible fall, but whoever it was behind him was about to be surprised.
OOC: So sleepy... but, finally got an idea that I had to type all this out... night time! ZzzZzz.

A girl grinned as Atari fell back toward her and she stepped forward to stop him from completely falling and being stampeded by the horde of people. As she supported his weight of his shoulder between her arms she pushed forward so he could stand upright, then pirouetting around him dropping a small metal object into the case holding Atari’s weapon. She got a good look at his face and told him, “Watch your step handsome, you wouldn’t want to hurt a girl would you?” She kept moving dancing through the crowd the tail of her red cloak disappearing with her. Finding her seat she bumped her fist against a larger guy with a grin whispering to him, “You know you didn’t have to practically push him on top of me, but that’s another tagged we already have 25! We are going to get rewarded well tonight.” Her mouth as she pictured the feast they would have tonight. The big guy just smiled patting the girl on the back in agreement his chest bouncing lightly with a silent chuckle as it bounced his rosary side to side.
Engel was getting more annoyed than a cat taking a bath with a bunch of dogs. He resisted the urge strongly to start pushing people out of his way. Finding a more open area with its own line he caught site of a few fellow instructors from the college he flagged them down learning they have access to a more private viewing area of the festivities. They chided him that the email had gone out a week before, but he shrugged and commented he had just been very busy. When stepping into the tent he was a bit surprised to find they had a box up near the top with a clear view, and plenty of places to stand or sit. He looked back the way he came noticing he could see outside, but as if it were night time the sun being dimmed as to not let light into the tent, he figured they had to have been teleported a good ways up. Leaning against the railing he pressed his ear and said quietly so nobody overheard, “well I think I have the best view of the tent.”

He blushed from embarrassment as he muttered an apology to the girl. His heart raced a bit at her touch. She seemed to have moved out of view before he could respond to her. 'Deja vu.' This seemed to have happened to him before, but he could not place when. He managed to find a spot near the lower middle section of the seating area. Not too long after, the sound of his communicator rang in his ear. It was Engel telling him that he was also in the tent. It was a shame that they could not regroup, but Atari understood that it was nearly impossible to do so in such a crowded area. More people kept coming in as well during this long intermission.
His hand touched the little gadget in his ear, and he said to Engel, "Keep an eye out for anyone or thing that's suspicious. Also, look out for that other girl. Something's up. She would've said something by now." His red eyes scanned the area until another loud announcement filled the space.
"Welcome back, everyone! I see a few of you are still joining us. Don't worry, just take your time to find your seats," the announcer said, giving a short pause. He seemed to be glancing over the audience members from the raised glass platform. After a while, he continued his speech, "I'm glad to see that more of you are here to witness our grand performance! You've seen our dolphin riders earlier this morning and our brave shark tamer in the noon. Now, let me bring you our beautiful ice skating princess, who will be dancing alongside our tuxedo friends from the arctic!" The audience applauded with much enthusiasm as the third water sphere of the day was lifted into the air. A deep hum came from the gravity controller underneath. Slowly, the hot air began to cool. A crackling sound echoed from the walls of the tall, open-roof tent as the surface of the water sphere began to freeze over.
Slowly, a young girl in a sun-colored outfit was raised through the air with levitation magic. She was hugging her knees tightly to her chest while her entire being was rotating in circles. Once the water sphere had been completely frozen over except for a hole on the top, the girl was gently placed on its surface. Like a beautiful swan, she glided across the surface with arms spread wide open. Orchestra music accompanied her performance. Before Atari knew, there were penguins swimming within the sphere. Their black tuxedo bodies pierced the water within. Around and around they swam, creating a wondrous vortex inside the closed off sphere. Even Atari was entranced by the performance. As the performance continued, something amongst the crowd began to stir.
OOC: I had wanted to type up a circus performance for a while now! Finally, it's out! Haha. I'm having way too fun with this. Time to get my laundry. I will reply to the OUAD Academy post soon enough!

Engel partially watched a bit in awe of the performance. He tried looking out to the viewing crowd but with the dimmed lights and as high up as he was he couldn't make out anything. Straining his eyes in vain he finally pushed the piece on his ear and said, "I can't see anything with how dark it is up here." Looking around the box he did find a couple doors that supposedly went into adjacent halls around other viewing boxes. He excused himself from his coworkers and stepped out trying to at least take a list of the names on reserved boxes. Nothing ever seemed out of ordinary so he just hoped all was the same for Atari down in the other part of the tent.

Even though he knew that Engel stood within those viewing boxes, he could not tell where the man really was. Atari could only sit and enjoy the performance, but there were other pressing matters that bothered him. 'Dammit. Where could she be?' wondered the young male as he looked around again. It was useless. Finding his partner was exactly like finding a needle in a haystack. Soon enough, Atari got fed up with the lack of progress in their search, and he stood up from his spot. He excused himself to the other people in his row as he squeezed past them. As he began to walk down the steps to exit the tent, he spotted the familiar back of a woman he had been searching for. The woman exited the tent as quickly as possible, and Atari gave chase. He pressed the communicator and contacted Engel as he ran down the steps, saying with quickened breath, "I found her. She just left the tent. I'm chasing after her now!" As he ran down, people kept getting in his way. If he did not hurry, he would lose sight of her. Something was definitely wrong though. Why is she running? Why is she not responding to them? Atari would have to find out once he caught her.

At the news Engel looked around irritated trying to find a way out of the tent so that he could assist Atari, and their partner. He pressed the radio in his ear while wandering around for an exit announcing, “Stay with her, she could be following someone and need your help if she’s moving quickly, and she may have lost her radio.” Engel knew anything was possible back from the days he would run missions out on the field with his division. It excited him, he had started to grow a bit tired of all the paperwork he had been stuck with since the fighting had died down over the last month. As he found an exit he walked quickly through it he tried to figure out where he was having teleported randomly it had seemed. Engel figured he was on the north side of the tent now, and tried to keep an eye out for his partners running around.

As he reached the exit at the bottom of the tent, he rushed out, looking around his surroundings to see which direction the girl had gone. From what Engel had said, Atari began to consider the possibility that she was chasing someone. She may have also lost her communicator somewhere along the way. "Shit," he muttered, having lost her right when he finally found her. This simple recon mission took a turn for the worse when his partner decided to go M.I.A. or A.W.O.L. He raised his hand to his ear and pressed the communicator to speak. "I lost her. I don't know where she went or if she was chasing after someone. I didn't see anything else. Do you think there's a chance that I mistook another person for her?" he spoke to Engel. There was a bit of doubt in his mind even though he was never wrong about these things. He stood a few feet from the entrance of the main tent and waited for Engel to meet up with him. They really needed to regroup and get a handle on the situation as soon as possible. He crossed his arms and waited while a few circus goers would occasionally move aside to avoid walking into him.
OOC: I really don't know where to go, but I hope this post was a good read. I'd like to talk about the direction our story is heading towards. So let's regroup from inside and out of the post! Ha ha! I wish others would join in on the action. I feel like this is going to get CRAZY!

After about twenty minutes Engel was finally able to meet back up with Atari. They looked around for a little while with still no sign of their partner. Placing his hand on Atari’s shoulder Engel tells him, “Let’s find some where a little more private to talk before we continue.” Passing a large assortment of stalls, they finally arrived somewhere they could talk privately. Engel tried to hide his grimace as he thought of exactly what to say, and go over what had happened. “I saw she had your back in the hotel last night, and she is obviously someone you know well. Do you really think she went AWOL?” He didn’t want to bring Atari’s trust into question here, but he wasn’t left many choices. Thinking of his own time in soul society, and what he has had to do in the past he added, “I guess, either way it doesn’t matter she came with us and she needs to leave with us.” Engel was going to leave the call up to Atari, this was his mission, and it wouldn’t be appropriate for Engel to call the shots. One thing that did cross Engel’s mind was the fact that he had been using the radio Atari had brought, but Atari’s was the extra she had brought. Pulling his radio from his ear he turned it off, making a gesture to Atari that he should do the same. The last thing he wanted was someone to be listening into them if they were compromised.
OOC: We do need to figure some direction out

OOC: As much as I would love a more detailed direction for our story, there's still a lack in members, and I don't want to get too story heavy. For now, I'm going to open up some side-quest material (i.e. the search for the missing U.R. woman and the mystery of the metal object). Eventually, the metal object side-quest will probably lead into something bigger. We'll deal with that when the time comes! I'll think of what to do with the missing U.R. woman as well as we keep up the role play. Right now, we're at a quest giver that's waiting for us to accept a new quest or not. Ha ha! Enjoy!
The first thing he did was take out the communicator from his ear. He understood the notion and turned off the device before spending some time to think of a resolution for their problem. Engel's reassurance of his partner's reliability kept Atari quiet. He had stood there, listening to his companion bring up some interesting facts about their situation. 'It's true that she had my back during the raid, but I don't really know her. If I tell Engel this, it'd probably cause unnecessary doubts. So, what should I do?' he contemplated, taking into consideration the facts and what-ifs. He could keep looking for the woman, but there is a high chance that he would come out empty-handed at the end of the day. If he left without her, there is a possibility that she may have been captured or even betrayed the U.R. It would not be acceptable. All of this frustrated Atari to no end. He scratched at his hair. His eyes were closed, and his brows furrowed.
Eventually, he decided on continuing the search for his newly assigned partner. Given the benefit of the doubt, Atari felt that he could not just leave her. If she was in trouble, he needed to find her immediately. "I'm going to call someone and ask them to tell me where she is. When we joined, we were given phones with tracking devices so that the guys at the base could monitor our locations. Even if it is destroyed, it would've sent one last signal to the base before it shut off. We'll start there," he stated, pulling out his phone from his waist bag.
Before he had the chance to call, a small item was pulled up and out of his bag, falling to the floor beside them. It made a small clinking sound, which caught Atari's attention. He leaned down and picked up the small object, holding it to the light to get a clear view with Engel. "What is this...?" he muttered, showing the object to Engel. He had forgotten to call for now as he observed the object. 'How did this get in there? It couldn't be from Matsu...' he thought, recalling the events happening up to this particular moment. Nothing strange came to mind as he awaited Engel's reply.

Engel took the object from Atari and started to look it over with a grimace. It looked to him like a crucifix. It was small was it part of a earring perhaps? He shared his thoughts with Atari saying, "Looks like the symbol of the church, but other than that just a piece of jewelry. You think perhaps Sena put it in your bag or something? Perhaps a good luck charm?" The thought amused him Sena was a pretty interesting girl, but he was becoming side tracked, Atari's partner for lack of better words needed to be found.
"Anyway maybe you should check with your friends to see where she ran off to, hopefully we can still track her." Watching people walking by he tried to give Atari some privacy for the phone call trying not to eavesdrop as much as he could help it.
--------------------------- ooc: I am going to assume that Atari was going to make the phone call anyway, if not please tell me and I can correct my closing statement.

Listening to the older man’s words, Atari did not think any more of the tiny object that was found in his bag. There was a possibility that it belonged to Sena, and if anything, he could always ask her when they returned to Engel’s apartment. It held little importance compared to his missing partner. As Engel finished his part of the conversation, Atari nodded in response and held up his phone. He dialed the number from memory and waited for the phone to connect.
It rang a few times before someone picked up. “…” There was silence, but Atari understood why. The boy cleared his throat twice and whistled a short tune. After that, the person on the other line finally spoke up. “Who’s speaking?” Atari stated his name and position, and the U.R. member offered their full attention and support. Without any delay, Atari directed the member by saying, “I need you to track down my partner. She has been missing since a few hours ago. Let me know her current location.” He stood there beside Engel and waited while the U.R. member tracked down the missing partner. His eyes were lost in the distance as he pondered about other things. ‘I wonder how Elizabeth is…’
His thoughts were interrupted by someone clearing their throat. “Ahem, your partner was last seen approximately 5 km North West from your current position. Actually… it looks like your partner’s still there. The signal is still working just fine.” This intrigued the young boy. His scarlet eyes widened at the news as he looked towards Engel, who must’ve given him a questioning look. Atari lifted a finger up as a gesture to Engel to wait a second before explaining. “Alright, thanks for your help. If it starts to move, call me and let me know. That’s all,” concluded Atari, who hung up the phone after his comment.
As he put away the phone, Atari looked towards Engel. “She’s 5 km North West from here. It seems like she’s stopped moving… if that was really her earlier. Let’s go,” he stated, heading in the direction that the woman was in. ‘This is too weird. Why is she not moving after all that…?’
Before long, they arrived in the area where the signal was coming from. They stood at the center of the trailer homes where the circus residents settled in. On the ground in front of them was the little black phone that had the GPS tracking chip. “She got rid of it…?” he muttered his thought aloud, picking up the phone and examining it. There were no damages made to it, but here it was… away from its owner. Atari did not have time to scope out the area before a bulky circus member yelled at them from a distance. “What are you guys doing back here?!” The younger male looked up and saw the threatening expression on the circus member’s face as they began to stomp towards the two men.
OOC: I thought I'd stop right there before I get too in depth! I hope you like it, Erlkings! Let's have some nice non-tournament fighting going on here with Mr. Muscles or something! Ha ha!

The man looked pretty menacing as he approached the two of them. Holding his hands up in an unarmed gesture he called back, “Sorry, we are just a little lost looking for our friend.” The man proceeded toward them punching his fists together angrily shouting, “Yeah yeah, you had the same excuse an hour ago when you and your missing friend were here.” Engel confused took a step back as the man closed the distance asking, “What are you talking about?” The man clipping Engel’s cheek when he was able to move fast enough. The punch threw Engel off balance enough where he fell on his rear in the dirt, and he scrambled back a couple feet to get some distance on the guy. The man didn’t care about Engel any longer he walked past him and proceeded to trying to throwing a punch at Atari.
Solaris was happy that his migraine had finally gone away, of course with the large help of his companion Lunas. They had closed the fortune telling tent early for the day, even after Solaris had insisted he could go on after a long healing session. As they had left Solaris had taken hostage of Lunas' hand holding it in his own. He didn't know if she just kept using her power, but he felt better all the same, it was nice knowing there was one person he could interact with who's thoughts wouldn't ravage through his mind plummeting him further towards madness. As they were rounding the corner he asked, “After we change, what do you want to get for food?” Shortly down the way he noticed the group of people fighting standing still and watching nervously he squeezed his hand a little more tightly around Lunas' interlocking their fingers.
ooc: Not as long as yours but I feel it is a enjoyable read all the same.

“You had the same excuse an hour ago when you and your missing friend were here.” At those words, Atari felt just as confused as Engel was. Before he could comprehend their situation, Engel was already on the ground, and the fearsome man had begun to close in on him. A large fist was thrown in his direction, but he managed to duck out of the way. He quickly turned grabbed ahold of the man’s muscular arm and used their momentum and weight to throw him to the ground. Atari followed up by putting the man into an arm lock as soon as possible. The man tried to break free, but it only hurt him further, so he stopped resisting Atari’s grasp. “UGH! A-Alright!” he screamed out in pain.
Atari remained where he was and spoke to the man, “We’re here to just get some answers. We’re not here to pick a fight. Can you tell us what you mean by my friend being here earlier?” The man on the ground only grunted in pain and muttered out, “L-Let me go first and I’ll tell ya.” With careful consideration, Atari released the man, knowing that it was not easy to answer any questions (or even ask them) in their position.
They both stood up, dusting off their clothes and stretching out their aching body. Atari stood beside Engel and waited for the circus muscle to explain himself. With a crack of his neck, he glared down at the two gentlemen and said, “You were here with that woman earlier. Snooping around and making the same excuses.” ‘She was here… with Engel? A doppelganger?’ he wondered, crossing his arms in front of his chest. He stared at the man with all seriousness and asked, “What did you tell them and where did they go after that?” Things were becoming more and more mysterious. He had no doubts that the man beside him was the real Engel; thus, it was easy to assume that the man with his partner was the fake. “I told them the same thing I’m gonna tell you. We don’t know nothing about no mind reader spy.”
He looked over to Engel with a worried expression, one that he would never show to anyone other than those he trusted. ‘If that’s who they’re looking for… then I know who.’ His eyes shifted back to the muscle man, and a word of gratitude came from his lips. He apologized for all their trouble and decided to find this person instead of looking for his partner.
Whenever Solaris held her hand and entwined his fingers with hers, she never asked him why or felt any different emotion than trust and happiness from it. They had always been close since childhood due to their circumstances. Even if they were because of circumstance, she felt content with it. Her first and only friend that understood her was by her side. She ignored the stares of envy and amazement and focused on Solaris’ hand. She heard him speak, and she replied in kind, “I’d like to eat some of the freshly grilled corn if you don’t mind.”
They stopped when they noticed the fighting. She felt his hand squeeze hers, and she squeezed back.
OOC: When I read the post concerning Solaris and Lunas, I actually thought that this can go one of two ways. 1) Solaris and Lunas are actually at the circus member trailer area. Or 2) Solaris and Lunas are still walking there, but caught sight of some people fighting within the circus area itself. You can choose! But I'm loving the twist I put in it. (If you have any problems, I can change it!)

Engel gently rubbed at the side of his jaw as they made their way out of the camp area. Grumbling in his mind, ‘Ugh, had I not moved when I did I think he would of broken something.’ As they walked he was sure Atari was waiting until they got around to where nobody could hear them before sharing what was bothering him. He hadn’t said anything, but the look Atari had given him couldn’t help but spread a fog of uneasiness over the situation.
Moving into a cleared area Engel slowed the pace so that they could talk while moving. Engel’s own concern for the people posing as them, had him confused as to what copying him would accomplish. Breaking the silence he finally said, “What’s the plan?” The day was certainly not going to let up anytime soon on the surprises. Engel had at least hoped things would have been more normal after he returned, but that seemed like a fleeting dream after this last week.
Solaris couldn’t quite make out who was fighting, but he swore he saw the same boy who had caused all the trouble before. He wasn’t close enough to get any flashes of memory from any of them, but he could feel the mood in the atmosphere like a shadow pressing down on him. With a nervous thought to Lunas, ‘I think we should try to stay away from them.’ Not waiting for her response he led them to a turn away so that they could possibly keep some distance between them knowing they needed to get past them.
Walking along it seemed they had avoided the people, Solaris let out a sigh of relief. Looking at Lunas he said, “I think I smell some of that roasted corn, want to get it after we change or before?” As he waited he felt a shiver run down his spine making he look around seeing nothing, but not able to shake the feeling they were being watched.
