Still a bit shocked she stood up straightening her dress with her hands she gave him a glare still trying to figure out what his intentions were. Her mind raced with it, 'did he like her like that? or was it just a accident?' Not sure if she should drop it or not, but thinking the only way she can really know is to just ask him. Standing in front of him she asked softly, "was it really, an accident?" Knowing cornering Atari never really helped get a honest answer out of him.

At her question, Atari started choking out of no where even though he was not eating or drinking anything. "O-O-OF COURSE IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!" he screamed, causing the surrounding people to stare at the two. Some people started muttering things like "Is it a lover's quarrel?" or "What kind of accident was it?". Bits of the gossip reached Atari's ears, and he stood up quickly, trying to hide his face with his hair. He grabbed his bag and started walking. Of course, he stopped after a few steps to wait for Elizabeth. Looking over his shoulder, he said to her, "Let's go to class already."

She dropped it following him to class, not sure of his answer. Knowing at least if anything if touching her more encouraged him to get to class on time, could it really be that bad? She laughed at the thought as she walked behind him thinking it completely crazy. Distracted with the thoughts the mood died as she walked into Atari's back who had stopped. Looking around him she saw what had everyone looking around, a young man laughing flipping a ring into the air catching it and repeating the action with a slain fellow student laying in front of them his eyes glassed over clearly dead.
Stepping around Atari she knelt by the dead student feeling empty inside running her hand over his face closing the students eyes, then looking up to glare at the cocky bastard who had done this. The kid took it as a challenge saying, "oh what's wrong girly, did you know him? Perhaps you want to join him?" She had finally had it her anger getting the better of her she growled out a silent word. Not hearing the boy said, "I'm sorry I didn't catch that, did you just accept my challenge?"
Standing staring him down, "I said ACCEPTED!" The atmosphere grew thick as the boy grinned and moved his hands quickly hurling a sphere of energy at her that sailed towards her." She had ducked down quickly, the sphere sailing above her and leaving a huge impact mark in the wall behind her. Channeling her abilities she could see the world lighten up as her eyes became feline like, becoming more sensitive to motion. She could see when the boy met her eyes he gave the smallest flinch natural instinct telling him to fear the what hides in the dark. She didn't waste her moment leaping towards him in a flash of speed capturing his neck in her hand she pinned him to the ground.
Her nails grew sharp and claw like pressing into his skin, all she wanted to do was crush his windpipe to end his life like he had probably ended so many others. The boy wasn't going to be able to move, as she tried to decide if she should just end him, or leave him alive to suffer without his abilities.

When he came upon a large group, he stopped, causing Elizabeth to collide into him. It was a small matter compared to what he saw. His expression darkened, and his mood definitely became sour. When he tried to motion to Elizabeth to continue moving, the girl had already rushed over the the dead body. "O-Oi, Elizabeth!" he yelled after her. By the time he passed made his way through the group to the front of the audience, Elizabeth accepted the challenge. "H-HEY!"
The crowd moved out of the way when the first bolt of energy was shot. Atari bit his lip hard, holding himself back from entering the fight. If needed, he'd jump in just to defend the girl. 'Judging by his slow reaction, He's not that strong. He probably picked on the weak...' thinking to himself as he glanced over at the dead student. His eyes returned to the fight as the crowd roared with enthusiasm. Elizabeth had a slight transformation and now held down her opponent. Atari made his way closer to Elizabeth, but left a good distance between them. The battle basically ended, and all that was left is for her to deliver the finishing blow. He sighed in relief as he approached her. "Jeez, Elizabeth... getting yourself involved with this sort of person. What are you waiting for now? You saw how he is," he urged her to finish the fight.
For him to say such a thing, he was obviously ticked off. That guy was the type that he hated the most. Part of it was also probably because the guy dissed Elizabeth. 'One less scum trying to become god...' he thought.

Unable to resist the urge any longer feeling the helplessness of her prey she squeezed her hand her nails piercing the flesh the warm blood pouring over her fingers. She reveled in the feeling enjoying the rush of power feeling the blood fall knowing she could use it to raise a small army if she wished. She kept her hand pressed down until she could feel the heart stop only then letting go slowly standing a new shiny ring held in her clean hand.
Her breathing sped up a bit as she could sense the world growing dimmer her eyes going back to normal. Not wanting to face Atari she looked towards the closest restroom so that she could clean her hand running towards it. She went to the sink once she got inside, washing her hands for a long five minutes trying not to think about anything. The day only two thirds through and yet so much had happened. Walking out of the restroom still a bit disconnected from the world she noticed she had left her book bag in the hallway discarding it during the fight not having it with her.

'Geez...that girl. Running off on her own like that,' thought the young male, looking in the direction Elizabeth had disappeared to. He took a short look at the second dead body of the day and watched as the blood poured from the wounds of her opponent. "Sure brings back some memories," he muttered under his breath. After speaking aloud his thoughts, the Seraphim clean-up crew descended to rid the two bodies in the area. They made quick work of this, leaving no blood behind. Atari ignored all the commotion. In the corner of his eye, he noticed Elizabeth's school bag and decided to retrieve it. He left quickly to wait for her outside of the restroom.
By the time he arrived near the restroom, Elizabeth emerged with a dazed expression on her face. Her head suddenly lifted as if she thought of something important. Atari took that opportunity to wave at her, and soon enough pointed at her bag in his hand. A sense of relief swept over the girl as she thanked him for grabbing her bag. "It's nothing," he modestly replied. Once one of his arms was freed, he placed it on the girl's head in an attempt to comfort her. "You're always so hot-headed when it comes to these things even though you don't want to be involved anymore..." he teased, adding, "But you did good." With much said praise and affection, he involuntarily threw her another one of his charming smiles again. They didn't stay in the hallway too long as Atari urged her to head to class.
The two arrived at the classroom about half an hour late. Luckily, their professor was a nice old woman that understand the going-ons of the tournament. She asked the two to stay after class just a bit and handed them their syllabus once the two students settled into their seats. Continuing where she had left off on discussing the syllabus, Atari began dozing off due to all the excitement that has been happening around the campus. 'Once this class is over, I can go meet up with Matsu or return home and make some dinner.'

Elizabeth gave her apology for being late to the teacher. Finding a seat she sat down with the syllabus in front of her mostly glancing at it other things on her mind. She just wanted to go home and crawl in her bed and ignore the rest of the world. As the time ticked by she decided she wouldn’t go home, she would just go on a walk. No work was planned out for the week so she pretty much could do what she wanted on the evenings. Her thoughts wandered, thinking maybe she should just start to take out as many competitors as she can, perhaps then she could have peace.
The teacher had kept them a little later than the others, Elizabeth mostly nodded when she found it appropriate and left when she could. She walked side by side with Atari as they made for the exit of the school she said to him, “so… I guess I’ll see you tomorrow morning then?” She didn’t want him to go, the only person next to Atari she could call family was probably the skeleton tearing up her apartment.

The sun hung in the middle of the skies as the two walked off campus. Evening was still an hour or two away. It would have been wasteful if the two of them retired home without enjoying the free time they had for the easy first day of the semester. It was apparent in the girl's voice. Surprisingly, Atari had picked up on the fact that she had asked instead of stating that they would see each other tomorrow. "If you have nothing to do for today, why don't we walk around the shopping district?" the boy asked as a friendly gesture. He added, "I should really pick up some school stuff before I forget," hoping that would clear up any misunderstandings. 'I should also hit up Matsu,' he thought, taking out his cell phone and shifting through his contacts.

Giving a small smile she tried to cheer up a bit. Knowing there really was not escape from the tournament so it didn’t help for her to be so gloomy. Turning to Atari she said, “I wouldn’t mind going, if at all possible I would want to stop by my place and change.” She really didn’t want to put words to the dress already having mourned it once today. Not to mention she had to check on the skeleton. Her place wasn’t far from the shopping district as she guided Atari along while he talked on his phone. As they approached her place she could hear loud music flowing around the neighborhood turning the corner finding her house with the Skeleton on the second floor patio doing an air guitar with her broom. The loud music blasting from the open door behind it, letting out all her cool air. She gritted her teeth clenching her fist taking her book band and hurling it up at the skeleton hitting him in the head causing it to flip backwards into the house with a loud clanking noise. She stormed into her place slamming her patio door shut, with yelling being muffled after the music was turned off. It took her longer than she imagined but she eventually was leaving the house in a new outfit to the expression Atari was wearing having just witnessed the worst pet in the world.
Will be continued in shopping district. Edited by LittleBlackCat: Here's the link to the thread! Enjoy!

OOC: We're back from the "Side Trip to the Shopping District"!
Finally, the second day of the semester began. This time, Atari woke up earlier and managed to get ready before his brother even got up. By the time Matsu entered the kitchen, Atari finished preparing a traditional Japanese style breakfast. "You're quite the early bird today. Did you sleep well?" asked the older man, who sat down at the table still wearing pajamas. Atari finished the bite in his mouth and answered, "I slept fine." Afterwards, he continued eating. There was not much to talk about, so the two siblings just finished the meal in silence. As Matsu cleared the table, Atari brought him a cup of coffee to wake him up. It put a warm smile to the older sibling's face, knowing how attentive his younger sibling was being. Matsu took the cup, thanked him, and offered to wash the dishes. With that, Atari left for school, giving a short scratch for their pet wolf and waving farewell to the older brother.
The walk to the university went smoothly without any challengers on the way. Atari was truly thankful for that, not wanting to be nearly late again on his second day of the spring semester. When he arrived at school, Atari waited by the entrance of the building that his class would be and called up Elizabeth. The phone rang a couple of times, and eventually went to voice mail. That was odd. 'Hmm... I wonder if that skeleton's causing trouble again. Or maybe she ran into some trouble...' pondered the young male. He settled on staying at school for a little while longer. Going out without knowing where to go would be troublesome. The girl could handle herself. He decided to call again.

The morning had gone slowly Elizabeth grumbling out of bed turning off her alarm. She had spent the morning waking up while getting ready picking out what dress she wanted to have potentially ruined today. She was a bout ready to leave grabbing her book bag, and looking around knowing she was forgetting something. The skeleton made himself known by then waving her phone at her a book held open in its other hand. Walking over she snatched the phone from it glaring at the skeleton, not sure if it hadn't just hid it in the first place. Irritated she said, "can you even read?" It looked back at here silently and just tilted its head sideways as if confused, then continuing where it left off flipping to the next page. With a slight growl she said, "well just make sure you behave yourself today, and do the chores!" Walking out of her place she locked the door behind her. Checking her phone she saw she had a missed call, but didn't pay it any attention.
As she was approaching the University she heard her phone vibrating, picking it up she answered seeing that it was Atari calling. She thought to herself, 'he must want to let me know hes not gonna be on time...' The conversation didn't go the way she had thought, out of all things he beat her to class. She felt there could be some teasing about it, so didn't look up to rounding the last few corners to class. Ending the call with a, "see you soon." she rounded the last corner catching a glimpse of Atari leaning against the building waiting. Walking up to him she waved happy she had at least one friend in this crazy world.

Atari greeted Elizabeth once she arrived and straightened himself to leave for class. The two of them walked into the building and straight to their classroom even though they had a good amount of time before it would start. They continue their small talk about miscellaneous things while the professor, who arrived early, prepared to introduce the class once it started. He even wrote down on the board his name, course name and number, and the time that class would be in session. Slowly, but surely did the students enter the classroom and take their seats. Some preferred the back, while others took the front. Knowing Elizabeth, the two of them would sit near the front of the class. This made it harder for Atari to nap.
When the class began, the professor went straight into his introduction, passing out the printed syllabus. Similar to Engel, he had a "No Tardy" policy, even if you were a combatant in the tournament. This made the young male sigh in disbelief. He thought to himself, 'Why did I even take this class?' Although he sat up straight, he felt the irritating itch to rest on the desk due to the boring introduction with the syllabus and a lecture that followed. 'Man, this teacher doesn't budge... we're already starting the lectures even though this is day one.' He could not help it any further after complaining in his own mind and ended up resting his chin in his hand. Atari's ruby eyes just stared tiredly at the professor as he talked.

Elizabeth made sure to start taking notes once the teacher started his lecture. Looking over at Atari she let out a audible sigh continuing taking notes sure that he would need to borrow them later. At the end of class her hand was sore from all the notes. As they exited the class she looked at her phone for the time and said, "well, we have half an hour to the next class, looks like today wont go so quickly." She led them slowly to the food court so she could grab a small snack before the next class.

Although it was just the second day of the semester and the first day for Tuesday/Thursday classes, the professor already began lecturing after the syllabus. All the students sat through the entire class, but some were likely to never return after this. Atari would have been one of those students if not for his friend. He sighed as they walked out of the classroom and towards the food court.
When Elizabeth told him that there was only 30 minutes till the next class, he thought, 'It's not long enough to grab a full meal... I guess I'll grab something easy.' The boy looked around and found that something easy. "Elizabeth, I'll be right over there," he said, pointing to the bread stand in the quad area. He headed there without waiting for a reply and quickly arrived at the stand. In a few moments, he had grabbed at least six breads and paid for it. The old lady at the register was a bit shocked at it, wondering if it was all for him. Atari thanked the woman and turned around just to run into someone.

Elizabeth nodded to Atari running off to find some breakfast finding a little shop selling cinnamon buns. She gladly got one and sat down at an empty table to start working on it. She worked it carefully with a fork not wanting to get the sticky frosting on herself. She felt a little guilty eating something so full of sugar not sure why, but it was almost as if her taste buds were crying in a frenzy of joy. When she finished, she had ate out mostly the center not caring for the crispier outside that was left.
Engel stood in the corner of his room watching his gigai and new artificial soul interacting with the world. His older version gigai of himself kind of disturbed him a little bit, but he put up with it letting the person who had crafted it for him the leeway needed to do so. The new artificial soul was adapted by Engel personally, hoping it would be able to function and perform his basic teaching while he was able to focus on more important matters. Upon this excursion into the food court it did look like things would get more interesting as it had bumped into Atari whilst trying to walk past him to the next little food outlet. It had turned around and apologized, looking to have recognized Atari it did as it was programmed to, casually ask how his second day was going.
Engel watched as it went to a random table with him. Distracted he moved across the room to a seat that would give him a better place to watch from, in his incorporeal form several people passed through him as he watched to see if Atari could figure out it was a fake. Elizabeth a little shocked now looked at Engel’s spirit as it sat across from her not quite sure what she should say. Looking over seeing he was staring intently at… Engel with Atari. She could feel a headache growing and did not want to know how this was going to end.
